The Zonta Club of Yakima Valley Foundation is a 501(C)3 that accepts donations from the community which are given to local organizations which improve the lives of women. All funds donated to Zonta are tax deductible.
Service Committee
Led by a chairperson, the service committee recommends
the way in which Zonta should allocate the funds raised by this service
club and organizes hands-on service projects. Mindful of the club’s mission to improve the status of women
worldwide, the committee suggests how much should be budgeted for international
causes and how much should be budgeted for local projects. A detailed list of service activities is given below.
